I would like to introduce my business and myself. I am the owner and operator of Hillside Happy Tails which I established in December of 2006 in South Anchorage, Alaska.

I worked as a geologist in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Colorado before I decided to be a full-time mother. In 1987, I moved to Anchorage, Alaska with my husband, two young daughters, two big dogs and two cats and have lived on the Hillside ever since.

I have always loved animals. As a young girl, I spent my summers in Colorado on horse back. Along with horses, I had dogs, cats, birds, rats, rabbits, snakes, toads, guinea pigs, turtles and fish at different times. It has always been important to me to take good care of them all.

Living in Alaska, I have enjoyed walking and caring for friend’s dogs when they have been out of town or didn’t have time to walk them themselves. I feel strongly about dogs getting lots of exercise. I also feel strongly about animal welfare and helping people provide their pets with the best care. This passion lead me to my current career as a professional pet-sitter and dog-walker. I am dedicated to the well-being of my client’s pets. We offer excellent pet care.

I am a member of Pet Sitters International. I am Licensed, Bonded, and Insured; I am trained in First Aid for Pets.
